Israeli police stormed Wednesday morning Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem accompanied with military bulldozers and started demolishing Palestinian-owned facilities.
According to Quds Press, the demolished facilities belong to the local activist and Jerusalem affairs researcher Dr. Radwan Amr.
Israeli municipality in occupied Jerusalem claimed that the demolished facilities, which include a store and a parking, were built without its permit, family sources said.
In Nov. 2016, Israeli municipality issued a demolition order against Amr’s house under the same pretext although he got an Israeli building permit in 1993.
Since the beginning of 2017, more than one hundred Palestinian facilities were demolished in the occupied Palestinian territories for being allegedly built without Israeli permit.

The Israeli occupation army on Tuesday handed a Palestinian farmer a demolition notice issued against his agricultural structure in Hizma town, northeast of Occupied Jerusalem.
The army claimed the structure was built without its permission.
A few days ago, the Israeli army had demolished agricultural structures and commercial stores in the same town at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Hizma town has been under tight military siege for several days after the Israeli army closed its main entrance with concrete blocks.
The army said the closure of the town’s entrance was in response to stone-throwing attacks on Jewish settlers’ cars.

A group of Israeli settlers seized on Tuesday a Palestinian shop in the Old City in occupied Jerusalem.
Al-Quds Press news agency said that Jewish settlers, escorted by Israeli forces, broke into a shop owned by the family of Noura Sub-Laban and started excavation and maintenance activities there without the family's knowledge.
Raafat Sub-Laban, Noura's son, said that Israeli settlers raided in the morning his family's shop, which has been closed for years, "like thieves" and started digging inside without his family's knowledge.
He added that the Israeli High Court excluded in its latest hearing the shop from the decision which allowed his parents to stay in their house for the next 10 years, after which it will be handed to Israeli settlers.
He pointed out that Israeli policemen and border guards secured the settlers' raid into the Palestinian facility before the outbreak of clashes between the settlers and the owners of the shop.
The Israeli High Court issued on 20th December 2016 a decision to postpone transferring the ownership of the Sub-Labans' house to Israeli settlers for 10 years starting from the date of the decision excluding the family's closed shop.
The settlement associations have been trying for years to evict the Sub-Labans from their house backed up by harassments practiced by the Israeli authorities. For example, in the seventies of the past century, the family was prevented from making any repairs or restorations in the house, and in the eighties, the house's entrance was blocked by Israeli settlers.
In 2010, the Israeli authorities gave the house to the Kollel Galicia Trust, a private settler group, who claimed that the house is a Jewish endowment and called for evacuating the Sub-Labans from it claiming that the family do not live in it.
Despite all the Israeli pressures, the Sub-Laban family stood steadfast in the Israeli courts for more than 20 years until they managed to regain their right to stay in it though temporarily.
According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), at least 180 Palestinian families in occupied Jerusalem are under the threat of being forced out of their houses due to the court cases filed against them by Israeli settlers or settlement associations under the pretext of lacking the ownership of the properties or losing the protected tenant status.

Israeli planes Tuesday morning sprayed pesticides over Gaza crops and homes located in the border line area in Khuzaa, Wadi al-Salka, east of al-Buraij and south of Gaza.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that Israeli troops torched rubber tires along the border fence in order to determine the direction of wind for preventing pesticides from reaching Jewish settlers’ crops to the east of the separation fence. Israeli authorities claim that spraying pesticides in that area aims at killing weed plants at the border line.
A number of Palestinian farmers told the PIC reporter that the pesticides' bad effects appear on plants two days after being sprayed.

Adham Bassiouni, head of Integrated Pest Management Department at the Ministry of Agriculture in Gaza, said that Israeli planes Monday morning sprayed the border line east of Rafah and Khan Younis with toxic pesticides which damaged a large number of green crops.
In an exclusive statement to the PIC, Engineer Bassiouni condemned the Israeli violation revealing that the ministry has no accurate data on the losses yet.
The Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture had previously appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in order to get acquainted with the Israeli pesticides spray dates.
Israeli authorities claimed that it would be conducted in the period between December 25, 2016 and January 05, 2017. However, it was done again on Monday suddenly without a prior notice, Bassiouni highlighted.

A number of Palestinian civilians sustained wounds early on Wednesday as the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) broke into the Qalandiya camp and demolished Palestinian structures.
According to local sources, violent clashes flared up shortly after the IOF rolled into Qalandiya camp, in northern Occupied Jerusalem, and knocked down Palestinian commercial shops near the Qalandiya checkpoint.
At least 10 Palestinian protesters sustained bullet wounds after the IOF showered the area with randomly-shot spates of bullet fire.
The attack occurred shortly after the IOF, escorted by two bulldozers and police jeeps, rolled into the camp and razed 11 Palestinian shops to the ground.
The IOF further climbed over the rooftops of Palestinian civilian homes, deluging the area with teargas grenades.
Palestinian gunmen reportedly showed up at the scene in an attempt to thwart the mass-demolition process.
Over recent months, the occupation authorities stepped up demolition of Palestinian homes and structures in retaliation for anti-occupation attacks launched in response to Israel’s escalating terrorism across the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday morning unleashed heavy machinegun fire on Palestinian fishermen and farmers in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
A PIC news correspondent said the occupation navy targeted Palestinian fishermen sailing off western al-Waha seashore, in northern Gaza Strip, with randomly-shot spates of gunfire.
The Palestinian fishermen reportedly went ashore for fear of being killed in the assault.
On Monday, the Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) released five Palestinian fishermen after they were kidnapped by the occupation navy off Gaza’s northern coast. Their boat was however confiscated by the IOA.
The five fishermen, released at the Beit Hanoun (Erez) border crossing, were identified as Mohamed al-Sultan, Ourans al-Sultan, Emad Seyam and his son Anas, along with Mohamed Abu Diyeh.
Meanwhile, the occupation troops deployed at the Sofa military base attacked Palestinian famers in eastern Rafah city, to the south of the blockaded Gaza Strip, with barrages of machinegun fire, sparking panic among civilians.

The Israeli occupation bulldozers on Monday continued the demolition of Palestinian structures in East Jerusalem under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Owner of one of the demolished structures, Ahmad al-Serkhi, said Israeli army vehicles, escorted by police forces, rolled into al-Sal’a neighborhood, in Jabal al-Mukabbir town, and continued the demolition process, which started on Saturday after the occupation authorities ordered the owners to self-demolish their own structures.
The targeted structures included a carwash, a cell phones shop, a horse barn, a diesel store, and an automobile repair shop.
The Israeli municipality threatened to subject the owners to harsh penalties in case they do not carry out the demolition on their own.
The targeted structures cover an area of 1,000 meters.
At least 18 Palestinian buildings have been knocked down by the occupation authorities since the start of 2017.
