According to local sources, Israeli warships opened fire at Palestinian fishing vessels setting sail within the six-nautical-mile zone, off al-Nusairat’s coast, in central Gaza Strip.

The current six-nautical-mile fishing zone falls drastically short of the twenty nautical miles allocated to Palestinian fishermen in the 1993 Oslo Accords.

Israeli planes on Sunday sprayed toxic pesticides on Palestinian farmlands along Gaza's eastern border.
Israel regularly sprays Palestinian citizens' agricultural lands located near the border with dangerous pesticides which destroy the crops.
Farmers and eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that Israeli planes started in the early morning hours to spray farmlands east of Gaza city with poisonous chemical substances, affirming that these pesticides have a negative effect on the crops and cause farmers to suffer huge losses.
Farmer Abu al-Said explained that the effects of Israeli pesticides appear two or three days after they are sprayed.
Israel claims that it only sprays weed killers near the border fence, but it usually sprays hundreds of dunums of land around the targeted areas killing and damaging Palestinian crops.

Israeli Soldiers Kill A Palestinian Farmer In Khan Younis
The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported, on Saturday evening, that a Palestinian farmer died from serious wounds he suffered at noon, when Israeli soldiers shot him while working on his land, in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Health Ministry said that Mohammad Ata Abu Jame’, 59, was shot by the soldiers, and suffered a serious injury, while working on his own land, in Khuza’a area, east of Khan Younis.
He was rushed to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, but died from his serious wounds, on Saturday evening.
His wife said that she was heading to the family’s land to bring food for her husband, before she heard the shots, and then she heard the husband screaming in pain and asking her to call for an ambulance.
The son and his mother, said that there was no reason for the soldiers to shoot Mohammad, because he was just working on his land, and the situation was calm, and added that the man was very healthy, and always loved to work and plant the land.
“Our only problem is that our land is located near the border fence which was installed by Israel,” the son said, “They shot him for nothing — this was the first time that the soldiers open fire at us on our land…”
There were no protests near the border area when the soldiers shot the Palestinian man, and there was no reason for opening fire.
It is worth mentioning that the army frequently invades Palestinian lands located close to the border fence, and constantly opens fire at farmers and workers, in issue that led to dozens of casualties, including many fatalities. Video

Israeli soldiers illegally confiscated, Wednesday, 24 Dunams of Palestinian lands in Burin village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, to pave a new segregated, settler-only road.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official in charge of Israeli colonies’ file in northern West Bank, said the confiscation aims at creating a road leading to Bracha colony, which was built on illegally-confiscated lands.
He added that the Israeli decision would annex Palestinian farmlands, in addition to tightening the siege on Burin, which is already surrounded by illegal colonies.
Daghlas also said that the villagers became unable to build on their lands, and in many incidents cannot even reach them.

Israeli settlers on Tuesday fenced off Palestinian lands in Nablus’s southern town of Madama, paving the way for their confiscation.
Deputy head of Madama Village Council, Tal’at Ziada, said Israelis residing in Yitzhar illegal settlement put a barbed wire around Palestinian lands in al-Ka’dat village, south of Madama, in anticipation of their misappropriation.
According to Ziada, over recent months, Israeli settlers stepped up assault on Palestinian land and agricultural facilities. Lately, sand roads have been established by the Israelis to access Palestinian lands.

The Israeli occupation navy shot dead, on Sunday evening, a Palestinian fishermen and wounded two others while they were fishing off the Gaza coast, Palestinian and Israeli sources said.
Head of Syndicate of Palestinian Fishermen Nizar Ayyash said that the three fishermen were aboard a fishing boat, on their way back to the port, when the Israeli gunboats opened fire at them.

The Israeli occupation authorities started the construction of a new separation wall dismembering Palestinian communities in Deir Balout, west of Salfit.
Deir Ballout mayor, Yahya Mustafa, said the construction of the wall dovetails Israeli works to expand Leshem settlement at the expense of Palestinian lands in Rafat and Kafr al-Dick towns.
Local farmer Idris Abdullah said the settlement activities led to the confiscation of parts of his land lots in the area and that the apartheid fence is just a few meters away from his family’s home.
He added that the occupation authorities have repeatedly threatened to confiscate his lands and olive groves located east of Deir Ballout.
Researcher Khaled Maali said dozens of olive trees were uprooted and huge rocks stolen from Palestinian lands to build the wall.
Maali said the confiscation of Palestinian lands for the benefit of illegal settlement construction contravenes Article 49 and Article 59 of the Fourth Geneva Convention.
