A Palestinian young man sustained wounds at noon time on Wednesday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed al-Tour neighborhood, in eastern Occupied Jerusalem, and cracked down on Palestinian schoolchildren.
A PIC news correspondent said clashes burst out shortly after the IOF broke into the al-Tour area and chased down Palestinian pupils.
The IOF showered a Palestinian school with randomly-shot spates of acoustic bombs and targeted the Palestinian schoolchildren and anti-occupation protesters with heavy barrages of bullet fire.
A youngster was injured in the head in the attack and was rushed to the al-Makasid Hospital for urgent treatment.
Similar attacks launched a few hours earlier by the IOF on Palestinian schoolchildren in Jerusalem’s eastern towns of Abu Dis and Silwan culminated in five suffocation cases among the Palestinians as a result of teargas inhalation.

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday morning, the at-Tour village, in occupied Jerusalem, and demolished four Palestinian apartments. The army also demolished a classroom in Abu Nowwar Bedouin community, east of Jerusalem.
Local sources said several armored military vehicles, and bulldozers, invaded the village, after surrounding it from all directions.
The sources added that hundreds of soldiers were deployed in at-Tour, and around it, completely encircling it, and prevented the Palestinians from entering of leaving.
The soldiers then demolished four apartments belonging to Ahmad Abu Al-Hawa, and his brothers; the building was constructed and furnished five years ago.
Abu al-Hawa said the army is implementing the Israeli policies targeting the existence of the indigenous Palestinians in the occupied city, by constantly demolishing homes and structures.
The soldiers also invaded the Abu Nowwar Bedouin community, east of Jerusalem, and demolished a wood and tin classroom, allegedly for “being built without a permit.”
The representative of Abu Nowwar Bedouin community Daoud al-Jahalin told the WAFA Palestinian news agency that the classroom used to provide education to 45 boys and girls.
He added that, several days ago, the soldiers photographed the classroom, after invading the local school.
Al-Jahalin stated that Israel is trying to remove the community from its 500 Dunams land, that belong to Abu Dis town, so that it can build and expand the illegal colonies in the area, as part of the E1 project which will eventually isolate the northern part of the West Bank from the south.
He also said that around 600 persons live in Abu Nowwar, and are facing displacement, especially after Israel issued more than 250 orders to remove them and confiscate their lands.

Israeli soldiers and officials of the “Civil Administration Office” invaded, Sunday, the Abu Nowwar Bedouin committee in the al-Ezariyya town, southeast of occupied East Jerusalem, and took pictures of a room that was added to the local elementary school.
Daoud Jahalin, the spokesperson of Abu Nowwar community, said the soldiers surrounded the local school, and photographed a recently added room, an issue that raises fears the army intends to demolish it, especially since most demolition orders are issued by the Civil Administration of the Israeli army, in the occupied West Bank.
Jahalin added that dozens of soldiers also invaded Abu Nowwar community on Saturday, and conducted various provocative acts.
It is worth mentioning that on February 21, 2016, the army invaded the Abu Nowwar community and confiscated seven mobile homes that were donated by the European Union to be used for schooling the children, and were placed on six Dunams (1.48 Acres) of land to provide schooling to sixty male and female students.
Abu Nowwar is one of many communities inhabited by Palestinians who are initially from the Negev, and were displaced by Israel in the 1950’s, and are currently facing further displacement and demolitions for the construction and expansions of Israel’s illegal colonies in the occupied West Bank, including in and around occupied Jerusalem.
Also Sunday, many military vehicles invaded the al-Ja’abees area, in Jabal al-Mokabber south of Jerusalem.
The army also surrounded Al-Quds University in Abu Dis town, southeast of Jerusalem, and clashed with many Palestinians, after the soldiers harassed and assaulted several students.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Monday rolled into Yatta town, in southern al-Khalil province, and took measurements of a Palestinian prisoner’s home, paving the way for its demolition.
Reporting from Yatta town, in the southern occupied West Bank, a PIC news reporter said dozens of Israeli vehicles and military jeeps escorted by engineering units, broke into the home of prisoner Younis Ayesh Zein, 22, and forced the family members out before they took measurements of the home and hollowed out the walls in preparation for the demolition procedure.
Zein was arrested by the Israeli occupation army last June on allegations of planning an anti-occupation attack carried out by the two prisoners Khaled and Muhammad Mukhamreh in Tel Aviv.
Meanwhile, a military checkpoint was abruptly pitched by the IOF at the main entrance to the Fawar refugee camp, blocking Palestinians’ access to their schools and workplaces.
A PIC news correspondent said the checkpoint was set up at the peak hours, from 7:30 a.m to 9 a.m., resulting in queues of school children, workers, and vehicles, all lined up in the streets.
The occupation soldiers further inspected Palestinian IDs and stopped cars at the checkpoint. Several schoolchildren were also detained for long hours because they did not carry their personal IDs and were released only after their parents showed up at the scene.

A 14-year-old Palestinian girl was shot and injured by the Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday morning at a military checkpoint in the northern West Bank province of Qalqilya on claims of a stabbing attempt.
A PIC news correspondent said a Palestinian girl was left bleeding on Road 55 between the illegal Israeli settlements of Alfei Menashe and Karni Shomron.
According to the Israeli news site 0404, the Palestinian child sustained injuries while there were no reports of injuries or damage befalling the occupation soldiers.
The Palestinian Health Ministry also said an unidentified Palestinian girl was shot and injured in eastern Qalqilya city.
According to eyewitness testimonies, the child was on her way to school, carrying only her bag. She was reportedly shot by the occupation soldiers while she posed no threat to them.
Right away, the Israeli military forces summoned military reinforcement and sealed off the shooting scene.
A report by the Defense for Children International (DCI) on Tuesday documented the murder of 31 Palestinian children, boys and girls, by the Israeli occupation army on claims of attempted anti-occupation attacks.
However, probes by DCI have shown that the casualties posed no threat to the Israeli soldiers, which proves that the murders were cases of extrajudicial killings.
Israeli Soldier Shoots 13-year Old Palestinian Girl For Failing To Stop At Roadblock
A Palestinian child was shot and wounded by the Israeli military Wednesday morning when she allegedly failed to heed a soldier’s order to ‘stop’ as she approached a military roadblock.
Israeli troops then locked down the roadblock and transported the wounded child to the Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava.
The child was shot at a roadblock near the illegal Israeli settlement of Alfei Menashe, near Qalqilia in the northern part of the West Bank.
She is the niece of a 24-year old Palestinian woman who was killed in November at a military roadblock in the same area. In that incident, 24-year old Rasha Ahmad Hamed ‘Oweissi approached the roadblock from afar, holding a knife in her hand and a suicide letter in her bag. She was shot by a soldier while she was still at least 30 feet away from the roadblock.
Following Wednesday’s shooting of the young girl, the Israeli military claimed that the girl “told them during interrogation” that she had “come there to die” – but Israeli military initial reports on incidents are usually discredited soon after they are made.
The child had no weapon anywhere on her body or in any of her belongings.
The Israeli Prime Minister told his cabinet earlier this week that all soldiers should be ordered to be on ‘heightened alert’ in preparation for upcoming Jewish holidays.
According to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu stated, “The security forces are on heightened alert and I will meet with them today in order to ensure that we will be ready to defend our people during this sensitive period”.
13-year-old Palestinian girl attempts terror attack: 'I came here to die'
A 13-year-old Palestinian girl attempted to carry out a stabbing at checkpoint near Alfei Menashe; security forces ordered her to stop, but she kept walking and reached into her shirt, at which point she was neutralized.
A 13-year-old Palestinian girl tried to stab soldiers at the Eliyahu checkpoint near Alfei Menashe in the West Bank on Wednesday morning, telling security officials afterwards: "I came here to die."
The girl arrived at the checkpoint on foot and approached vehicles carrying a bag. Crossings Authority security guards ordered the girl to stop and fired warning shots into the air. The girl ignored them and continued moving forward. When she put her hand under her shirt, security guards shot her in the leg, lightly-to-moderately wounding her.
None were hurt on the Israeli side.
This is the 11th attempted attack in the last six days and occurred the day after a 16 year-old terrorist tried to stab soldiers at a checkpoint in Bani Na'im, near Hebron.
