Gaza bans services given by Israeli phone and internet firms
GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian ministry of communications and information technology in Gaza decided to prohibit any dealing with Israeli companies operating in the field of telecommunications and the internet.
In a press release, the ministry called on all telecommunication and internet companies in the Gaza Strip not to deal with Israeli companies and the services they offer in this regard whatever the techniques used.
The ministry said the services provided by Israeli companies are suspicious and pose a threat to the internal security in Gaza.
"This decision was taken as part of the efforts being made by the ministry of communications and information technology to protect our society from the dangers of pornographic sites on the internet and via mobile phones, and to protect the Palestinian companies that provide these services from unfair competition by Israeli companies," the ministry stated.

IDF social media director blasted for 'blackface' photo
Army's 'Twitter warrior' is branded as racist for image that shows him with mud on his face under caption 'Obama style'.
WASHINGTON - The IDF officer who led the army's social media campaign during Operation Pillar of Defense came under attack on Tuesday after a photo he posted on his own Facebook page was branded as racist.
The image showed Lieutenant Sacha Dratwa, 26, with his face smeared in mud or dark paint under the caption "Obama style."
Dratwa, who made aliyah from Belgium eight years ago, was cited last week by online magazines Tablet and Gawker for his efforts to cast the IDF's actions in a positive light using Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other social networking sites.
But the "Twitter warrior' had to go on the defensive after a Lebanese blogger came upon the inappropriate photo and decided to publicly ridicule it, according to the New York Times.
"So this is what the Zionists call social media war? An IDF spokesman who is so moronic as to keep a rabidly racist photo like brown-face on his FB profile on PUBLIC settings, so that a half-asleep Zionist-hater like myself could discover it on Friday morning within seconds of flicking through his pics? He made it too easy," Amal Saad-Ghorayeb wrote in her blog.
While the snapshot is typical for visitors of the Dead Sea, where the mud is said to have healing qualities, the caption clearly invokes blackface, the NYT wrote.
Limited access
Dratwa promptly blocked access to the photo and changed his privacy settings on Facebook, limiting public content.
"There have been attempts to make use of private photos from my Facebook profile in order to publicly misrepresent my opinions," the officer wrote in a public message on his timeline. "Due to the amount of public attention I've garnered in recent days I have decided to restrict access to my page, in order to protect my privacy and prevent further cynical use of the information therein.
"I am, and have always been, completely candid about my beliefs and have nothing to hide – as reflected by my Facebook profile, which until recently was open to everyone. The aforementioned photos do not reflect my beliefs and have no bearing whatsoever on my position in the IDF."
The NYT further noted that Dratwa's past posts on social media offer insight into the officer's political views. This past October he posited in a blog post that Mitt Romney is likely to win the presidential election in the US. He wrote that President Barack Obama "sold a dream," in 2008, but “But with dreams no one can fill his fridge or feed his children.”
“Americans today need a father who is able to lead the country with a strong hand, not a dreamer," he added.

Islamic Jihad brigades release Israeli military documents
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Islamic Jihad's military wing on Monday published a second batch of Israeli military documents.
The al-Quds Brigades released lists of Israeli soldiers, including their phone numbers, email addresses and dates of birth, on its website.
The Israeli military on Sunday said thousands of reserve soldiers received text messages from Islamic Jihad during Israel's 8-day war on Gaza that ended Wednesday with a ceasefire.
The messages, in Hebrew, read: "We will turn Gaza into your graveyard and burn Tel Aviv."
The army said Islamic Jihad obtained the numbers after they were posted online by a reservist, the Israeli news site Ynet reported.
The list was one of several documents the al-Quds Brigades published on Monday. The group also released what appear to be details of Israel's army training, minutes of military meetings and army itineraries, dated as recently as June and translated into Arabic.
Brigades spokesman Abu Ahmad said the files proved the group had obtained recent information, countering suggestions the data was from 2008.
In a statement, Abu Ahmad added that despite Wednesday's ceasefire, the war hadn't ended as Israeli drones continued to hover over the Gaza Strip.

Gilad Sharon calls for "complete destruction of Gaza"....."like Hiroshima"
Among the latest horrifying examples of incitement to mass murder by Israeli public figures, Gilad Sharon, the son of former prime minister and notorious war criminal Ariel Sharon, has called for the Israeli army to "flatten" Gaza as the US flattened the Japanese city of Hiroshima in 1945 with an atomic bomb. "The residents of Gaza are not innocent, they elected Hamas. The Gazans aren't hostages; they chose this freely, and must live with the consequences," wrote Sharon in the extremist publication The Jerusalem Post. Sharon elaborated: "We need to flatten entire neighborhoods in Gaza. Flatten all of Gaza. The Americans didn't stop with Hiroshima -- the Japanese weren't surrendering fast enough, so they hit Nagasaki, too. There should be no electricity in Gaza, no gasoline or moving vehicles, nothing. Then they'd really call for a ceasefire. |
Were this to happen, the images from Gaza might be unpleasant -- but victory would be swift, and the lives of our soldiers and civilians spared."
Sharon added that "There is no middle path here -- either the Gazans and their infrastructure are made to pay the price, or we reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip."
As of Sunday night, the end of the fifth day of Israel's air assault on Gaza, more than 70 Palestinians, half of them civilians, had been killed in hundreds of Israeli airstrikes.

Dancing Israeli students chant “Death to the Arabs” at rally backing Gaza slaughter
The video clip shows hundreds of students singing “Hatikva,” the Jewish supremacist national anthem of Israel. At the end of the clip multiple voices can be heard chanting “mavet la’aravim,” Hebrew for “Death to the Arabs.” Some 1,300 people participated in the rally which was called to “support the State of Israel” and the army. |

Israeli army spokeswoman Avital Leibovich tweets that she will conduct a press briefing on the targeting of media buildings in Gaza City.
Israeli is trying to silence Palestinian and international press by targeting media headquarters in Gaza City, Palestinian National Initiative leader Mustafa Barghouti tells Ma'an.
"They are trying to frighten the press," Barghouti says, calling the strikes a war crime. Six journalists were injured in the strikes earlier this morning.

Israeli officials use fake graphic to justify bombing Gaza hospitals
As Israel steps up its targeting of civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip on the fourth day of an assault that began when it violated a truce on 14 November, and calls up reservists in advance of a possible ground invasion, Israeli officials are distributing a graphic that appears intended to justify in advance the bombing of Gaza hospitals and health facilities.
The graphic published by the Israeli army is a fake hospital sign that purports to show that Hamas leaders hide under hospitals and stockpile weapons there.
Ofir Gendelman, an official spokesman for the Israeli prime minister tweeted the same image in Arabic.

Israeli attacks on hospitals during “Cast Lead”
During “Operation Cast Lead,” its savage 2008-2009 assault on Gaza, Israel carried out widespread attacks on hospitals and health facilities. As a 2009 report by European develoment and rights organizations noted:
A World Health Organization (WHO) assessment of 122 health facilities in Gaza revealed that 48% were damaged or destroyed during the offensive: 15 hospitals and 41 primary health care centres were partially damaged; two primary health care centres were destroyed; and 29 ambulances were partially damaged or destroyed.
And during the 2008-2009 invasion, as The Electronic Intifada reported, Israeli forces killed 16 medical rescuers, four in one day alone. Another 57 were injured.
UN investigators find no evidence to back Israeli claims
The UN-commissioned Goldstone report examined the Israeli claims. On page 142, the report says that Israel alleged that:
Hamas systematically used medical facilities, vehicles and uniforms as cover for terrorist operations, in clear violation of the Law of Armed Conflict. This included the extensive use of ambulances bearing the protective emblems of the Red Cross and Crescent … and the use of hospitals and medical infrastructure as headquarters, situation rooms, command centres and hiding places.”
The commission of inquiry investigated the Israeli claims with regard to several hospitals that Israel had bombed, for example the al-Quds hospital in Tal el-Hawa, which had been hit by Israeli white phosphorus shells and high explosives.
It also looked at the flimsy nature of the “evidence” cited by Israel. In the case of al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City, this was “an interview with a ‘Hamas activist’ captured by Israel and an Italian newspaper article which in turn bases this assertion on a single anonymous source.”
“On the basis of the investigations it has conducted,” the Goldstone report said, “the Mission did not find any evidence to support the allegations made by the Israeli Government.”
Similarly, the report found no evidence to support frequent Israeli claims that ambulances were misused, and much evidence to contradict that claim. Israel’s Magen David Adom, its affiliate with the ICRC, even told the UN investigators that “there was no use of PRCS [Palestinian Red Crescent Society] ambulances for the transport of weapons or ammunition … [and] there was no misuse of the emblem by PRCS” (page 144).
In short, Israel has never presented any credible evidence to back up its claims, and yet it continues to produce propaganda like the “hospital sign” above to justify its very real crimes against Gaza’s already fragile health system.
Just how low can you go?

Palestinians hack Israeli Kadima party website
Head of Israel’s Kadima party Tzipi Livni
The website of Israel's largest political party, Kadima, has been hacked by Palestinians as the Zionist regime continues its attacks against the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Kadima party, headed by opposition leader Tzipi Livni, said it shut down its website after Palestinian hackers infiltrated it Friday night. Livni's blog was also hacked.
Israeli reports said Palestinian hackers also targeted a number of other Israeli websites including the Tel Aviv Municipality.
The Kadima Website was once more hacked during Operation Cast Lead, an offensive Tel Aviv launched in December 2008 against the Gaza strip in which over 1,300 Palestinians were killed.
This comes as Israel continues the attacks, which it began on Wednesday, against the Palestinians in the Gaza strip.
At least 41 Palestinians including children have been killed in the besieged territory so far.
The Palestinian fighters on Saturday continued to target Israeli cities with rockets and missiles in retaliation for Tel Aviv's deadly attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Around 650 rockets and missiles have been fired into Israel since the beginning of Tel Aviv’s offensive.
The latest of such missiles was fired toward Tel Aviv on Saturday morning. So far, three Israelis have been killed in the attacks.
Sirens are ringing out in settlements across Israel’s Negev Desert region, including its largest city Be’er Sheva. Several missiles hit open areas in the city on Saturday morning.

Anonymous Hackers Hit Israeli Sites In Retaliation For Gaza Attacks
As the Israeli army rains shells on the Gaza strip Thursday, it’s also gone on the offensive online, posting videos of its attacks on Hamas targets and live-tweeting its campaign. Now the hacker group Anonymous has responded with a digital bombardment of its own.
In a series of attacks it’s calling “OpIsrael,” Anonymous went on a spree of website defacement and takedown attacks Thursday, calling on members to flood forty sites with junk web traffic designed to knock them offline and defacing websites including the privacy firm Israeli Security Academy and a blog the group described as belonging to the Israeli Defense Forces. “We Anonymous will not sit back and watch a cowardly Zionist State demolish innocent people’s lives.” reads one message posted to a defaced site, along with an image of smoke rising over what appears to be a Palestinian city.
Perhaps a bit hyperbolically, the message added, “We have taken down your top security and surveillance website.”
Another message on a hacked site attributes the attack to Pakistani Anonymous hackers: “The people of Pakistan are always supporting the brave people of Gaza, we love you!”
Anonymous Twitter accounts provided links to what they described as an Anonymous Gaza Care Package with tools for staying online if Israel cuts Internet service the Gaza Strip during its military action. Another hacker group, Telecomix, provided its own detailed instructions in English and Arabic for using dial-up connections, a technique it first suggested during the Egyptian Internet outage surrounding the Arab Spring protests there last year.
“To the people of Gaza and the “Occupied Territories”, know that Anonymous stands with you in this fight,” reads a press statement from the hacker group. “We will do everything in our power to hinder the evil forces of the IDF arrayed against you. We will use all our resources to make certain you stay connected to the Internet and remain able to transmit your experiences to the world.”
Gazan and Israeli forces have traded volleys of fire over the last day, inflicting damage on both military and civilian targets. By CNN’s latest count, three Israelis and 13 Palestinians had died as a result of the conflict.
Anonymous’ attacks, as usual, achieve more as propaganda than in actual damage. Most of its target sites seem to have remained online, and several downed and defaced sites seemed like random low-hanging fruit: A manufacturing an export company and a real estate law firm, for instance.
But the online attacks draw attention to the Gazan side of an information war in which Israel has been unusually aggressive: In the days leading up to its attack, the official Israeli Defense Force twitter feed has provided a constant stream of messages about its offensive in the region as well as Israeli civilian and military casualties caused by Hamas rockets fired from Gaza. Its tweets have linked to aerial videos posted to YouTube:

Was an israeli military Twitter account suspended amid Gaza conflict?
Twitter may have temporarily suspended the Israel Defence Forces’ (IDF) official account Thursday after it provided a number of updates on the Gaza Strip conflict that escalated 24 hours before.
The IDF used the @IDFspokesperson account to first inform the world of a military action in the Gaza Strip and provided updates as militant groups launched rockets from Gaza into Israel and the Israeli navy targeted a number of sites in Gaza.
One tweet in particular appeared to break Twitter’s rule on posting “direct, specific threats of violence against others.” The account appeared to have been suspended for around 40 minutes Thursday morning, though many Twitter users dispute the Daily Dot's personal experience. (Twitter does not comment on individual accounts for privacy reasons.)
The @IDFspokesperson and @alqassambrigade (Hamas’s military wing) accounts sparred on Twitter Wednesday as both sides tried to dominate the media narrative and inform the public of events in Gaza from their perspective.
As of 9am ET Thursday, 15 Palestinians (including children) and three Israelis have reportedly died, after Israel killed Hamas' military chief in Gaza with a surgical strike on Wednesday.
The Israeli army says militants have fired around 245 rockets into Israel, with the Iron Dome system intercepting 145.
Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi condemned Israel's military action as he recalled the country’s ambassador to Israel and Egypt urged the U.S. to intervene.
President Barack Obama spoke with Mohammed Morsi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday. He expressed support for Israel's right to self-defense, and agreed with Netanyahu that Hamas must stop launching rockets towards Israel. The U.S. president also called on Israel to “make every effort to avoid civilian casualties” in its military actions.
Correction: Following a report this morning that @IDFspokesman (not the official @IDFspokesperson account) was suspended, the Daily Dot checked the userpage for the @IDFspokesperson account. It was unavailable to the Daily Dot for approximately 40 minutes. A screengrab was not obtained.
The Daily Dot has found other reports of an erroneous suspension message being displayed for @IDFspokesperson, which, it should be noted, is a verified Twitter account. However, @IDFspokesperson did not appear to be suspended by a large number of Twitter users during the time period in question. This article and its headline have been modified to address this issue.
Twitter has not responded to multiple requests for comment.

Michael Ben-Ari hate speech - Israeli hate on display in Tel Aviv
Knesset member Michael Ben-Ari of the National Union party. On 15 November, the second day of the Israeli assault on Gaza, Ben-Ari addressed a hate rally in Tel Aviv, calling for more bloodshed in Gaza. Ben-Ari is also notorious for his incitement against Africans and for his hatred of Christians. In July he tore up a New Testament, calling it "abominable" and threw it in the trash. |

Israel supporters (and IDF officials) proudly display their bigotry on Twitter (UPDATED)
A reader sends along that it wasn’t only IDF spokespeople and random Israel supporters who were pushing the #HamasBumperStickers hashtag. Former AIPAC spokesman, and current Israel Project CEO & President, Josh Block was also promoting the Twitter feed. Here Block retweets rightwing commentator Michelle Malkin pushing the hashtag and linking to a post titled “Supporters of Israel mock jihadists with HamasBumperStickers, libs outraged.” The Israel Project, the organization Block now leads and which describes itself as “a one-stop source for detailed and accurate information about Israel and the Middle East”, also promoted the hashtag over its Twitter account.
Original Post (Rania Khalek)
It’s raining Israeli bombs in Gaza yet again and as the death toll mounts some people are having themselves a laugh at the expense of the dead. I’m talking about HamasBumperStickers, a twitter hashtag that caught on like wildfire yesterday mostly among people who despise Palestinians (and Arabs in general) and think it’s funny when Israel kills them. While I’m not usually one to amplify the trolling rhetoric of heartless bigots, I feel it’s important that these particular individuals be shamed and ostracized for their sick jokes, especially since the hashtag they are using has apparently been trending worldwide. Here are just a few:
An American Patriot @Onelifetogive #HamasBumperStickers "Ask Me About My Exploding Grandchildren"
Snarky Basterd @Snarky_Basterd #HamasBumperStickers Future Suicide Bomber on Board
The People's Cube @ThePeoplesCube #HamasBumperStickers Baby Suicide bomber on board
The Ryan King ♛ @The_Ryan_Kingg Proud parent of an honor roll suicide bomber #HamasBumperStickers
This one has been retweeted the most, with 1298 retweets as of this post:
@NathanWurtzel #HamasBumperStickers Honk If You're About to be Taken Out by an Israeli Air to Surface Missile
Okay, so you might be thinking, “Come on, Rania, these are insignificant creeps on the internet with too much time on their hands.” Actually, Israeli defense officials have been participating as well, like this IDF spokesperson:
@CaptainBarakRaz #HamasBumperStickers I fired ten rockets and all I got was this lousy bumper sticker
Captain Barak Raz’s colleague, also an IDF spokesperson, was so amused by his tweet that he retweeted it, adding an LOL to show his chuckling approval:
@LTCPeterLerner LOL RT @CaptainBarakRaz: #HamasBumperStickers I fired ten rockets and all I got was this lousy bumper sticker
That same IDF official even came up with some of his own:
@LTCPeterLerner #HamasBumperStickers My car is a stairway to heaven, with a little help from #Israel #IsraelUnderFire
@LTCPeterLerner #HamasBumperStickers oops did I say "Gates of hell"? I took the wrong turn at the lights.
People who took offense tried to counter the insanity by using the hashtag to tweet important though often ignored facts about Hamas and Gaza:
Charles Davis @charlesdavis84 #HamasBumperStickers We won a democratic election that was endorsed by the Bush administration.
But it didn’t catch on. Neither did the hashtag #IDFBumperStickers, which some used to criticize Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. #HamasBumperStickers remains as strong as ever, with right-wing Arab hater Michelle Malkin joining in the fun every so often while criticizing those who dare to be offended by jokes that dehumanize dead Palestinians.
As for the person(s) who started the hashtag, The People’s Cube--described by Wikipedia as “a U.S. based satirical conservative website”—proudly took full responsibility in a blog post that detailed the success of their bigotry:
Last night on Twitter, at 10pm, @ThePeoplesCube started a #HamasBumperStickers trend, which was picked up by tens of thousands people and quickly rose to the #2 trend not just in the United States but also worldwide – the fact promptly picked up by Michelle Malkin’s Twitchy Team.
Meanwhile, the residents of Gaza continue to endure endless airstrikes on top of a nearly 6 year long illegal blockade that has left over 1.5 million people cutoff from a world that has abandoned them. Only a sociopath would find that funny.
Just to give you an idea of what they’re laughing at, here are photos of children that Israel has killed or wounded in the last two days:

Omar Misharawi, 11-months-old
This picture of 11-month-old Omar Masharawi was published by the Washington Post. Omar was killed by an Israeli airstrike in Gaza yesterday. |
BBC journalist Jihad Masharawi carries his son’s body at a Gaza hospital. Omar’s father, Jihad Masharawi, is a BBC Arabic journalist in Gaza. This picture of Jihad sobbing while holding his dead has become the face of this offensive to many arabs around the world. |
The brother of Palestinian boy Walid al-Abadlah, who hospital officials said was killed in an Israeli air strike, kisses his body during his funeral in Khan Younis, Nov. 15, 2012. |
While the children of Gaza bear the brunt of the bloodshed, Israeli children aren’t safe either. An injured Israeli baby is held by a security officer inside an ambulance at the scene where a rocket, fired from Gaza, landed in the southern city of Kiryat Malachi November 15, 2012 |
The little baby girl in the first video, filmed just minutes before she dies. Yesterday, Ahram English posted the second video showing an emotional Palestinian official holding the charred body of the babygirl killed in Gaza by an Israeli airstrike.(Warning: It’s very graphic!)

Anonymous warns Israel: ‘No one cuts internet on our watch!’
Fair use Notice:
What horrors will YOU likely face after a cave-in of YOUR nation’s economy, war, geophysical upheaval, or whatever crisis is bad enough to disturb or stop YOUR nation from working and functioning? There are plenty of very potential SHTF events that are simply awaiting a catalyst to trigger them…- SHTF Plan – When It Hits The Fan, Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You – http://www.shtfplan.com -
Privacy Matters…
This may be old news, but I am, pardon the expression, sick and tired, of the expression “if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about…” etc. etc.
To which I emphatically declare: Hell Yes You Do!
The hacktivist group Anonymous is angry at Israel, and not just for launching deadly airstrikes on Gaza. Members say the Israeli government “crossed a line in the sand” when it threatened to sever internet and other telecommunications in Gaza.
In a press statement published online, Anonymous issued a warning to the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and the Israeli government, ordering them to not shut down the internet in the occupied territories and to cease and desist from their“terror upon the innocent people of Palestine.”
In a tweet, the collective condemned Israel, saying it has broken 65 UN resolutions with no consequences. It then compared the situation to Iraq, which was “invaded, bombed, and destroyed” for breaking two resolutions.
Anonymous’ online statement warned the Israeli government: “Like all the other evil governments that have faced our rage, you will not survive it unscathed.”
The statement then turned into a message of support for the people of Gaza saying that “We will do everything in our power to hinder the evil forces of the IDF arrayed against you.”
“Know that Anonymous stands with you in this fight. We will use all our resources to make certain you stay connected to the internet and remain able to transmit your experiences to the world,” the statement said.
And it seems their words are being matched with actions.
Anonymous has put together a “Gaza Care Package,” which contains instructions in Arabic and English to assist Palestinians in the event that the Israeli government threatens their internet connection.
The package also includes information on evading IDF surveillance, along with first aid information.
The collective encouraged Palestinians to download and share the package with others. Those behind the project have vowed to expand and improve the document in coming days.
“No matter how dark it may seem, no matter how alone and abandoned you may feel – know that tens of thousands of us in Anonymous are with you and working tirelessly around the clock to bring you every aid and assistance that we can,” the statement said.
Members are taking a more direct approach too, by contacting Israeli forces directly.
A tweet from an Anonymous account to an IDF spokesperson warned, “It would be wise of you to expect us.”
Anonymous has already hacked a number of Israeli websites, including advocate-israel.com. Visitors to the page see a scrolling banner which says the site was hacked by the “MexicanH Team.”
A statement on the webpage says, “Stop bombing Gaza. Millions of Israelis and Palestinians are lying awake, exposed and terrified.”

Israel releases YouTube video of missile strike on Hamas leader
Israeli forces began a military campaign in the Gaza Strip Wednesday—after announcing the action on Twitter.
At 9:29am ET, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) sent a tweet from the @IDFSpokesperson account which read: “The IDF has begun a widespread campaign on terror sites & operatives in the #Gaza Strip, chief among them #Hamas & Islamic Jihad targets.”
Fast Company noted the tweet was the first announcement of the operation, before the IDF called a press conference.
A few minutes before the IDF sent the tweet, IDF killed Hamas’ military head Ahmed al-Jabari with a missile strike. Hamas' military wing confirmed al-Jabari's death on its @alqassambrigade Twitter account and the IDF posted a YouTube video that reportedly shows the attack.

The IDF said on its blog that al-Jabari was “directly responsible for executing terror attacks against the State of Israel in the past number of years.”
The Israeli military said the action was a “surgical operation” for which it partnered with the Israeli Security Agency. A spokesperson later said it’s part of a broader campaign against Hamas, Islamic Jihad (who said it would retaliate), and other groups in Gaza: Operation Pillar of Defence. IDF said the dual aims were to “protect Israeli civilians and to cripple the terrorist infrastructure in the Gaza Strip” and said it was “ready to initiate a ground operation” if necessary in Gaza, which is governed by Hamas. The BBC reported that militant groups fired hundreds of rockets from Gaza last weekend, and cited Hamas as suggesting that Israel had "opened the doors of hell." The IDF’s Twitter account provided further updates, claiming it had intercepted 17 rockets fired from Gaza and thatthe Israeli navy had struck terror sites in Gaza. |
Worth noting, the IDF may have violated Twitter’s terms of service with a tweet this afternoon. Twitter’s rules state:“You may not publish or post direct, specific threats of violence against others.”
Hamas didn’t take that threat lightly. Elsewhere, the U.K.’s Foreign Office called on all involved to avoid a “dangerous escalation” of attacks. |
