The Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said Tuesday that Israeli authorities demolished since the start of the year 960 Palestinian facilities, most of them were funded by international community.
Hamdallah stressed the urgent need for an international intervention to support Palestinian international efforts to end settlement construction and Israeli occupation.
Only independence would achieve economic development, he said.
He pointed out that Israeli authorities prevent Palestinian construction and economic development in Area C which constitutes 64 % of the West Bank and placed under Israeli control according to Oslo accords.
More than 960 Palestinian facilities were demolished since the beginning of 2016. 68 of them were founded by the international community itself, according to Hamdallah.

Dozens of extremist Israeli colonists attacked, Sunday, Palestinians harvesting their olive orchards, in a number of villages and towns, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
Ghassan Daghlas, the Palestinian Authority (PA) official in charge of monitoring Israeli settlement policies in the occupied territories, said that the colonists came from the illegal outpost of Havat Gilad that was established on privately owned Palestinian lands.
Daghlas added that the Palestinians had a prior arrangement with the Israeli District Coordination Office, allowing them to enter their orchards, isolated behind the Annexation Wall.
The attack led to some confrontations between the Israeli attackers and the locals, before the army intervened, yet, the soldiers forced many Palestinians out of their lands, and prevented others from even entering their own orchards.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) assaulted Palestinian farmers in Beit Furik villages to the east of Nablus while harvesting their olive crops on Saturday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that IOF soldiers tried to prevent the farmers from reaping their crops in their land, which is adjacent to Itamar settlement.
However, when the farmers insisted on reaping their olives the soldiers started beating them and forced them to abandon their land under gun threat.

Crews of the Israeli Mekorot Company deliberately dumped waste water in Palestinian-owned land used to cultivate olive trees in Salfit, eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter.
The sources pointed out that local farmers were not able to reach their agricultural lands for picking their olive harvest.
Local activist Khaled Maali affirmed that Mekorot Company repeatedly cut off water supplies to Palestinians while increasing water flow to the neighboring illegal settlement.
Local farmers are also prevented from drilling artesian wells in area, he added. Each year during the olive harvest many settlers attack Palestinian farmers, destroy trees, and even steal olives after they have been collected, making the Palestinian farmers fear for their livelihood.

In Qalqilia, dozens of Israeli soldiers stormed Azzoun town and arrested eight Palestinians including children.
Several locals were also attacked and beaten during the raid, while three workshops were violently stormed. Equipment of the workshops were confiscated.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that nearly 200 Israeli soldiers stormed the town after closing all its entrances by military checkpoints. Dozens of homes were stormed and violently searched during the raid, the sources pointed out.
In Jenin, Israeli forces detained overnight and at dawn today three Palestinians after breaking into Yamon town. A state of tension prevailed among the locals after Israeli forces stormed and searched several homes.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) prevented Saturday morning Palestinian farmers from Salem village east of Nablus from accessing their agricultural lands for the second consecutive day.
Local sources affirmed that Israeli forces accompanied with guards of Alon Moreh settlement chased local farmers and prevented them from harvesting their olive crops.

The Israeli occupation navy on Friday morning kidnapped two Palestinian fishermen off Gaza’s shore.
A PIC news correspondent said the Israeli navy forces opened fire on two Palestinian fishermen sailing off the al-Sudaniya shore, in northern Gaza.
The occupation navy arrested the two fishermen Muhammad and Mahmoud al-Saidi and confiscated their boat before they dragged them to an unknown destination.

Israeli soldiers, accompanied by a number of armored bulldozers, invaded Thursday the at-Tass area, west of Kharas town, west of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, before bulldozing and uprooting 40 Dunams (9.88 Acres) of Palestinian lands.
Abdul-Fattah Qodeimat, the head of Kharas Local Council, told the Maan News Agency that the lands were planted with almond and olive trees.
He added that the soldiers also demolished several water wells in the invaded and uprooted lands, and that the wells belong to the families of Qodeimat, Halahla and Sa’id.
The official denounced the Israeli violations, and said that the soldiers are trying to force the Palestinians out of their lands, in order to build and expand the illegal Jewish-only colonies.
It is worth mentioning that, on Wednesday, the army invaded and uprooted 36 Dunams (8.89 Acres) near Kharas.
